The three peaks challenge is the ultimate mountain walking challenge. You climb the peak of Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowden, which are the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales in 24 hours or over a long weekend.
So our 3 peaks challenge is to walk or run the equivalent 462 miles between the three peaks and also accumulate enough elevation (11,183 ft) which is the sum total of the climbing each of the mountains. The difference is you can do this anywhere, at any time and at your own pace.
There is no time limit on this challenge, so take your time, enjoy the views and smash your fitness goals. You must complete both the distance and the elevation elements of this challenge.
You can track your progress either through the Race the World App or you can simply send us confirmation of completion through to firstname.lastname@example.org
If you choose to use the app to track your progress, you must first register an account and then add the following 2 challenges :
1. Three Peaks Distance Challenge
2. Three Peaks Elevation Challenge
If you have linked your account to strava then you will need to enter any elevation data into the app manually as strava only send distance data and do not send any other stats.
Your data from strava for mileage should be assigned to the Distance element only.
We hope that you will join us for the Three Peaks virtual challenge !
