Fight the Good Fight, is our October Charity challenge in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Breast Cancer is the most common cancer in the UK and accounts for 15% of all new Cancer Cases and it is also the most common cancer in women globally. Breast cancer is not unique to women though with it also occurring in Men.
Breast Cancer Now (formerly Breast cancer Now and Breast cancer care) are the leading charity which undertake research into new treatments and therapies and also provide much needed support for anyone diagnosed with Breast Cancer. The support is provided throughout the early diagnosis stages, all the way through treatment and then providing support and after care, when the medicine side of it is finished. The after affects of treatment can be far reaching from emotional support to help in managing the ongoing physical affects.
As a survivor myself and knowing lots of amazing ladies that have also survived and some that have not been so lucky, this charity is a very personal one for me, which is why Race the World are supporting Breast Cancer Awareness month in October.
1. choose from 1 Mile, 5km, 10km, 10 Miles or a Half Marathon
2. Go out and do your miles in October
3. Email us your evidence to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will send you out your medal and distance Pin Badge.
