The C25k programme for me was one of my most memorable and proud running achievements. I loved it so much I have now embarked on it all over again after a lengthy enforced absence from the sport.
Be proud - it is often the start of something amazing. Running brought me new friends, a good sense of well being and a smaller waist and I loved it for all of these things. Whether you are a social runner, like to run round on your own for your own headspace or love the thrill of an organised race (if they ever make a comeback) running is great for your physical and mental wellbeing. If you run, you are a runner !
